Good Grub Guide

OMSCo has teamed up with celebrity chef, Lesley Waters, to produce a free booklet: One Trolley, One Week, a Family Guide to Going Organic. It’s full of delicious recipe ideas to show that with a few simple changes, it’s possible to get more organic food into your diet without breaking the bank. We worked out that a family of four can switch to organic milk for less than £1 a week. Follow the link to download your guide.

Spot the OMSCo Tanker

All the milk tankers in our fleet are being given a make-over and we think they’re now the funkiest ever! The first three are already on the road in the South so get the kids in the look-out when you’re travelling – if you spot one, make a note of the registration and the date and email me at gill@omsco.co.uk and I will send you a full colour poster all about the wildlife on an organic farm.

Helping Young Farmers

Every year, OMSCo awards a bursary to some of its young farmers to help with the costs of their studies. The awards, totalling around £5000, are part of a drive to encourage more youngsters to stay in farming. Simon Best, 21, is one of this year’s recipients and he will be using the award to help finance a course at Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.
